FAQ's

Where are your frames made?

Our frames are made in Seattle with our local partners who have been at it for many years.

Are all of the frames custom or do you use a stock geometry?

All of the frames are hand built to order. We have stock geometry to keep things simple but we offer custom when custom is needed or wanted. Most people can fit on our stock geometry but once we work through the numbers we may suggest going with custom to get the ideal fit for a bike that will fit like a glove. In other circumstances people have want a bike that's beyond one of our stock offerings. We love 'projects' so if you can dream it we can make it happen.

Does it really only come in black?

Nope. We have a number of stock colors to choose from as a base palette. We love custom paint jobs and are willing to match your favorite color or get as artistic as you want.

Do you just do frames? Or can I get a complete bike?

You get get either frame and fork or a complete bike. Most people tend to go with a complete since we can tailor the build to their needs. If you get a frame and fork only you have to promise to make it look pretty.

What type of tubing do you use for your frames?

We use predominantly True Temper tubing. We can pretty much tailor the tube set as needed if so desired but the Outsider and the Nightingale come stock with OX Platinum and the Race whip and track bike come stock with S3. OX platinum is the perfect balance of weight to durability. S3 is light and stiff, worthy of the quickest race bikes around yet smooth enough for long hours in the saddle.

How do I buy a Baron?

We have a order form you can download or we will email you that will let us get to know each other a little better. From there we can either work with you directly or refer you to one of our shops to firm everything up. Our selection of shops is growing as we find places that are the right fit, so check in and we can set you up with a shop in your area or contact us directly and we'll get you set up. We'll get you rolling on a new Baron one way or another.
